My dad, baw.

Rick Ryder vs Scott Hall

Not even kidding. That really is my dad getting tossed around the ring.

I saw that Mick Foley was metioned. My dad has said constantly that he was the best pro inside the ring.

Gorgeous George has to be in the conversation. Muhammad Ali copied his schtick (Ali readily admits it). "I'm so pretty" - all that stuff.

Ali said "quiet, polite fighters play to empty seats... loud obnoxious fighters fill the house". Georgeous George was the highest paid wrestler of his era, and always filled the arena.

That's just bullshite ...when you consider gates, PPV buys, merch, endorsements, etc Stone Cold absolutely made more money than Hogan ....everyone in the business says it.

I think a case could be made for both Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart here, and Daniel Bryan can be in the same conversation if he finishes his career strong.

My God. I know there's an element of homoeroticism in wrestling, but you are really taking it too far.

I think I speak for a lot of people and especially Zeke the Tke, but Stone Cold Steve Austin is the greatest performer in and out of the ring. He took it to new heights. The beer drinking. The vest. The Bible verse. The....MIDDLE FINGER! Heck, the majority of today’s wrestler mimic him in many ways. Quite impressive if I do say so.

That is the correct answer. Second place is Jerry Blackwell.

He could work, just watch his Japan tapes.

Literally 10s of people saw that.

his mic work for his era was outstanding.

Great for that era was Rick Rude, Mr Perfect, Macho Man, Honky Tonk Man, etc....Hogan was OK at very best.

Bret easily

One thing I liked about Bret as a kid was it was believable he could take down and beat bigger guys like Diesel, Sid, Taker, etc.
And he had by far the best sell job for the Stone Cold Stunner at Survivor Series 96.

You said that Hogan sucked on the mic. Game over.
