Regarding the season pass, they advertised that you can get a number of friends to buy their tickets through your season pass for a discounted rate. It didn't go into any detail beyond that, at least that I could see. Do you know what the discount is worth? I was going to use this to convince some more friends to come
The discount varies. They used to advertise the price, but don't see it now.
Besides the "buddy passes" ended altogether yesterday. Had to buy by midnight to get 2 of them. Catch it earlier in the year and you get 6 of them
Far as other discounts, you get half price tickets on blackout dates to some of the resorts.
They are always changing theses perks/discounts and they're different depending on the resort

Utah you can stay in the city and drive up to park city or snowmass
Snowmass is in Colorado, but I assume you meant Snowbird. It is nice how close the Utah resorts are to the airport.

Canyons is also on the pass, but stay in Park City.

I was in Park City this past January and they said that this upcoming 2015-2016 season will feature a newly built gondola joining the two resorts. You used to be able to ski both with a certain pass but would have to drive or catch a bus from one resort to the other.
