Stand your ground.

I think they are kicking a hornets nest with this rioting shite.

We saw what happened in Ferguson and Baltimore and every other place these hoodlums are allowed to riot.

This isn't the same America. People, decent people of every stripe, are fed up with these worthless layabouts who only care about this because they see the opportunity for ill-gotten gains.

Sorry man. Their pizza is terrible.

Let me guess, you went there as a kid?

As an adult it is still my favorite pizza on Earth.

I get 5 of them half baked when I'm in town so I can bring back to Nashville to share with friends.

Saying Fleur De Lis pizza is terrible makes my head hurt. I'm gonna have to walk away from this thread

He also said that Alton never reached for the gun and his hand was pinned down the officer who was also holding down his legs. He also said one police officer said "f*ck it, leave him", and they administered no aid to him. Could be another reason why people aren't happy.

The witnesses to Mike Browns death also said that he was on his knees surrendering when shot.

Then they said, maybe he wasn't surrendering, but he was walking away and was gunned down.

Then he wasn't running away, but he was fully cooperative.

Then the evidence came out.

This may be a totally unjustified killing. The store surveillance, police comm, dash cams, and whatever little body cam foot age exists will paint a clearer picture.

I'm not going to rush to judgment on the statement of a witness who has every motive to appease to the crowds and take the side of the shooting victim in order to save his business from the ensuing riots.

ETA: I'm also not going to rush to judgment and take up for the BRPD.

My brother is deputy in charge (captain) on brpd. My Nd his biggest concern is the more then likely referendum to inevidibility come down which will basically be a directive to no longer investigate or even answer some calls in some places or instances. I believe this is REALLY what they're going for. Vigilance with impunity

The fact that he had a gun coupled with the fact that he was resisting and was not subdued by a taser makes the shoot clean.. No way around it, we can't expect police or anyone to not have the option of shooting in this scenario.. Could they possibly have ended this without death, absolutely, but the way it went needs to be an acceptable outcome if we want police to provide security. I despise the bravado that cops show and feel their aggression can be tempered most of the time but it's situations like this that give one pause on why they are aggressive.. It's better to comply and sort it out later.

You are fooling yourself if you think it wouldn't go down the same here. People aren't going to ruin their lives to stop a ghetto from burning to the ground.

And showing the mother crying on television.

Thank goodness my parent's home had a house fire years ago. Otherwise they would still be living in NBR. Where exactly was the shooting at in NBR btw?

No, it sickens me this receives front page national news solely because the guy was black - hence sure to cause "outrage", which will in turn be used to destroy/steal property, all the while black on black/ black on white murders will march on unchecked and without a hint of outrage from national media.

Man has weapon.
Man is non-compliant.
Man is tased.
Man is still non-compliant.
Man is taken down.
Man is still non-compliant.

Man is just shot in the back for being non-compliant.

Meh.
