Look on the bright side.
It is slightly less annoying to be hearing a voice which you can actually understand while they are doing nothing to solve the problem than hearing a voice which you cannot understand...

They are for sure. I know, because I implemented an instance of Amazon Connect last year.
Keep in mind that yesterday (2/15) was a Sunday and today is a holiday.
Try again during standard working hours.

This is good advice.
Amazon Connect can detect an angry customer and alert a human, assuming that there is a human on duty at the time.
