I was in CEBA back in the day a 3000 level marketing class.
LSU/BR police came in and took out a student right as class was starting. Prof so mad he called off class.
Kid back in class the next class

I work at a place that sells firearms. We had someone fill out the paperwork, had his background check ran through NICS and the FBI called the store within seconds asking us to stall the guy because he was a wanted fugitive. Police showed up after a few minutes while we kept telling him it was taking a bit for his background check to come back.
In college, I was the “gun guy” at a pawn shop. This happened all the time. Usually I’d call and tell them they had been proceeded and could come pick up his gun. Then sit in the unit with the cops and point the guy out when he came back.

No, but internal company security did come get a co-worker mid bit of his breakfast sammich. They introduced themselves and said come on, drop the sammich, leave everything but what you have on and what is on your person. He never came back and his sammich sat there until the next day.
Later on the second day they must have escorted him to his desk after hours for him to get his personal stuff. His suit jacket and a few things on his desk were gone..

Not arrested but had a shop hand in the manufacturing plant I was working in at the time questioned by the local sheriff. There had been armed robbery of a hotel in the Galveston area and this guy was spotted in the area. Guess he had a record.
Anyway this happens on a Friday and come Monday some of the shophands put out some white towels and wash clothes with a for sale sign and this guys name and number as contact info. This was in the ‘90’s before everyone got all PC

This made me think of an incident in Middleton around 06/07. I’m sitting at a computer on the first floor and LSU PD comes in and starts talking to a little Asian chick sitting at another computer. Then she starts screaming and they have her on the floor trying to arrest her and she’s going berserk trying to fight them tooth and nail. They drag her out and I still to this day have no idea what happened.

I had a coworker (IT guy) who was lead out of the office by uni’s at a place I worked at over a decade ago. He was cuffed in the parking lot. The rumor was that it was related to child molestation. Never saw him again after that so not sure what came of it.

Used to work at a casino. Huge craps scandal. Police arrested guys working the game on a Friday night. Pretty freaky to witness.

No, but found out after the fact that I worked with a serial killer. Used to talk to the guy almost daily in the break room. Raped and Murdered at least 23 people:
Ronald Dominique
Thats a very interesting link anout this guy. I love True Crime type stories and its very interesting to see how he only killed a few people each year, seemed to go dormant, and then quickly escalated in the number of killings until he started getting sloppy and finally got caught.

Years ago, I was stationed at Hill AFB. This one TSgt was an amateur bodybuilder. Everyone used to always joke that he was on roids.
One day as I came into work, the entire front of the building was surrounded by SWAT-looking frickers and FBI/OSI dudes in suits. Several had machine guns out. They rounded us up in the parking lot and wouldn't let us enter. Then, the main doors opened and some SWAT dudes had that TSgt in hand and leg cuffs dragging him to a paddy wagon.
Whole time, that TSgt was screaming "I DIDN'T DO IT, SIR" to our commander. Come to find out, he was part of a giant Rohypnol and steroid distribution chain coming out of Central America. The story ended up on 20/20 or Dateline...I can't remember.
I've tried for years to find something related to it, because I never knew what happened to that TSgt. I ended up moving away before he went to trial. Literally the only thing I ever found that proves any of this is true is this link about the arrests.

I don't think cuffs were used.
They were escorted out by postal police or postal inspectors.
One I had warned. He was contractor programmer working on job site. He had 2 issues.
He was working on a private project using company resources. That probably means he lied on time billed.
And porn.
2 guys for porn.
The 3rd stole recyclable cans from the recycle bin.
Special Dumbassery.
He tossed the whole barrel over 2nd floor balcony in middle of night. Clatter clatter. They came for him in day time.

I looked up his name (not sure if the spelling is correct) and nothing came up. This was in 2006 or 07 so maybe there’s no online record?

Co worker....arrested for robbing a bank. Nice guy but going through a divorce and custody hearings. He chose poorly though. I remember it was about 8 pm and looking up and seeing two guys in suits walking towards me. I thought..this cant be good. They asked for the shop foreman..they all 3 went to the front, then the foreman walked to the back where the guy was and walked him to the front office where the he was cuffed and carried away. Saw about a dozen police cars leave..so the place was literally surrounded.

One year on Christmas Eve, my wife and I were hosting the entire family at our house for a good old fashioned Woods’ family Christmas. My dumbass cousin kidnapped my boss because I got stiffed on my Christmas bonus. An hour later, SWAT was rappelling off the house and smashing through windows. Crazy shite.
