Fire officials said four people were evaluated by medics, three of whom were taken to Harborview Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening: a 27-year-old man, a 25-year-old woman and a 4-month-old girl.
The 25-year-old woman was the mother of the girl, whose car was hit but both survived
in what Seattle Mayor Jenny A. Durkan called one of "some miracles."

The 2 marines that died were in the cab of the crane as it fell. I cannot imagine what their final ride was like.

This all appears to be a human error as well. You’d think that someone would notice that something was Wong.

So sad for those that passed.

most cranes are rated for 25mph, that's not very strong. not sure what that one was rated for. just read in another article that there was a 35mph gust at the time of collapse
I didn't say that. Retard.

I quoted him and then said this:

Yeah exactly this. That dude is a retard, like winds can't blow something down, ever heard of a hurricane or tornado? But if you look in that video you can see dark clouds and some very few rain drops. Looked like a storm was rolling in and probably gusty winds came with it. That might not have had anything to do with it but winds most definitely can frick it up.

I agreed with him that winds can frick up cranes. Now look at the bolded part at the end retard.

Now how about this little info cuck:

quote:

WIND A great deal of judgment is require d when assessing when it is too windy to continue lifting operations. Most crane manufacturers have some recommendations concerning the maxim um permissible wind speed/gust, or how to rate the crane under windy conditions, since their load charts assume no wind at all.

quote:

Note : In the absence of manufacturers’ specific written advice, seriously consider postponing the lift if the wind speed/gust is in the rang e of 15- 20 mph (7-9 m/s). Above 20 mph ( 11 m/s), the lift must be canceled. When the craning operations have bee n postponed due to hig h wind/gust conditions loads must be landed and secured, the boom must be stowed and the following must be met prior to resuming operations.

There you go cuck. Plenty more examples of winds shutting down crane operations. What else you want to learn about that they don't teach you on the jv beta team?

I wonder if the workers actually wanted to shut down the crane or if the boss was still cracking the whip to keep the work going?

Because your pick is going get out of control. It doesn't mean the crane isnt going to fail.

Do people not remember watching those two cranes last year in Panama City during that hurricane? They just swayed back and forth.

So because something happened that one time at that one place, means it all similar scenarios will go down the same way? MrRetard.

Actually it does

I quit arguing once I realized they didn’t have a clue. If the wind, other than a tornado or hurricane, takes down a crane, somebody seriously fricked up.
