What am I weeping about? I pointed out people who got walloped by it and that it is more problematic than flu or a cold. Not weeping. Haven't had it, have hardly changed routine and doing fine.

It's insane we are almost exactly one year into this and people still make the cold comparison.

Par for the course for this insanely ignorant country.

That's another thread I thought about making but went with something topical.

I’ve had a fever for 7 days. A little cold doesn’t do that.

Tested three times all negative, never had any symptoms, got the shots, moving on with my life.

You are correct. They both kill many more

Except for wearing a mask when asked by private property owners, I have only had to change about 5% of my routine because some places were unfortunately shuttered for awhile.

Nope. Sorry. Flu kills many, but not as many as covid.

Just wait though, the next push will be to mask up every November through March to stem the tide of Flu.

Ive had friends that thought just like you. The most vocal was a trainer for pro athletes in the area who is in incredible physical shape. They'd send me memes and laugh. Then they got it. They haven't sent any memes lately. For the trainer it dragged on for 20 days of misery.

Damn, all of your doubter friends got it and it was so bad they totally wised up to what you had been telling them. It's pretty lucky when everything works out exactly as it needs to for your internet point to be proven totally right.

So far I haven't been asked. I'm not going to make a big deal out of it if they do ask.

I dont have to make shite up. Not every doubter got it and neither did many of those who treated it like the zombie apocalypse. It is amazing, but there is a middle ground that the op seemed to ignore along with subsequent posters wanting to toss this on to the heap of cold and flu.
