Drive south on the Causeway between 6:30 and 8:00am and then ask me if Mandeville is a suburb of New Orleans?

or Drive north bound between 4:30 and 6:00pm.

I sometimes go to Nola for work and sometimes go to br

The traffic from Livingston parish to BR feels like surburb traffic

The causeway flows like the salmon of Capistrano. Constant 65 plus mph at the times you listed and it’s only 2 lanes

I 12 is 4 lanes and it’s bumper to bumper can’t move traffic in Livingston

Anyone who thinks causeway “traffic” if bad is living in very very real bubble

The census bureau thinks your arguments are idiotic since they’ve removed the north shore from the New Orleans metro. Their opinion is data driven. Yours is based on your emotion and how you feel.

You can beat that data drum all you want. It’s widely known and widely accepted that the north shore region is a part of the Nola metro. Deal with it. You are one of those types that tends to live and die on what the US government says.

You think these outdated metrics are valid? Remote working has changed the whole game. Your cute little data will be skewed due to that pal.

Nope nope nope. Mr government census bureau says otherwise. Data doesn’t lie. Neither does the government.

The causeway is two lanes and flows at 65 mph everyday very well.

I swear some of y’all need to go experience I 10 from Kenner to Nola or port Allen to BR, or I 12 from Livingston to BR so yall can see actual rush hour commuter traffic

You sit bumper to bumper and proceed at 15mph
