It was clearly after his time, Sutherland didn't start working in film until the early 60's. That being the nineteen sixties.

I was a manager at the restaurant that hosted the premiere party for Space Cowboys. When things were wrapping up he rounded up all the managers along with James Garner and Clint Eastwood to take a picture (Tommy Lee Jones had already left). I always thought that was very cool of him to do.

Yeah, I know, CSB.

Don't Look Now is terrific! One of my favs. A moody, supernatural, suspenseful, horror movie. Wonderfully shot in Venice, Italy. I always thought Sutherland and Julie Christie played a beautiful husband and wife in the movie (rare to see a loving relationship these days).

Has, Eye of the Needle been mentioned? Really good movie.

Great actor, really versatile. Almost like he could pretend to be other types of people.

Was brilliant in Ordinary People. It won Best Picture at the Oscars.

Damn, sorry to hear this, but it’s easy to forget how old these actors I grew up watching are. I expect to hear about more of them in the near future if I live that long.

Great actor and personality, rest in peace.
