I always went with the old FIFO (first in first out) theory, but I just about got ran over by guy B yesterday as apparently his need to exit .67 sooner than me was of utmost importance. When our shoulders collided he looked at me as if I had done something wrong leaving in front of him.

I guess I was in the wrong then. I always assumed the no one wants to be on an elevator other than a 4 year old, so the equitable thing to do would be let the first guy on the elevator out first so that every passengers ride time is minimized to the extent of the order they entered.
Again, this is all based on a couple of guys. If it's packed or women and children are present then all of that goes out the window. This is specifically about 2 men though.
