I get what he is saying that we shouldn't be panicking over a few deaths in the US. We don't panic over the Flu.
But as you can see from the numbers, the likelihood of dying from the flu is small. If you catch Ebola, the likelihood of death is HIGH.
All I have taken from the whole Ebola craze is that we are screwed if a high mortality highly infectious disease does pop up.
Neither party will be willing to make the tough calls early and by the time they realize they need to lock things down, it will be over.
