Check the Used Car Buyer's Guide. Was the vehicle sold "as-is" or did the dealer provide a limited warranty?

It may have been sold as is from the selling dealer, but the warranty still might be in place with Ford. I don't know how long Ford warraties their cars. I'd check with a Ford dealer if that's not where you bought the truck.

I thought ford covered all "moving parts" for 60K miles?

That said they denied me when my fuel gauge stopped working on my 2009 f150 when it was still under the warranty noted above.

If it's power train, say power train. "Moving parts" can mean a lot of stuff.

Oh yeah, frick ford.

Damn didnt know they did car warranties as well. Ive worked with them and my company on the electronics side. We were a vendor of theirs. I can tell you I would never buy a warranty with them as the backers

Well then, it appears you are out of your warranty period for the truck. You have two options, take it to a Ford Dealership (they might be able to fix it as a goodwill claim) or bring it back to the original dealer and raise hell.

I've never worked with them personally, but that's pretty much how all of them operate.

They are supposed to inspect everything before selling you the warranty. They sold you the warranty without disclosing the problem. It's on them

Eta: Just saw it was the speedo. No way they would know it was going to go out before it went out

Don't let them drag it out to day 60 and then deny you again and it's too late to cancel. How long ago did you buy the truck? What kind of problem are we talking here?

I'd go to that dealership and raise hell, pronto.
