I am willing to bet all those individuals in the third picture have nicer cars than me.

Unfortunately for them, the world does not exist in a vacuum. Let's even argue that profit margins would be reduced by 1% in some bizarro world, they would still have to account for employees making 1.4-1.8 times what they used to make, which would drive the price of the product up. Skilled labor would demand to be paid more to compensate for products costing more, and the fact a CPA/Lawyer/Engineer is rarer than someone who can flip burgers. This in turn would drive up the price of services. Tax dollars would increase, but since the government still has to purchase goods and services, their costs would increase too.
In short, these people are fighting for the right to purchase milk at 9 dollars a gallon and would be right back in the same situation they are in now. It's not like companies wouldn't see the writing on the wall and begin to increase prices as soon as they thought there is a chance this would happen.

Every single one of these people should be fired on the spot. There are many, many people capable and willing to flip a burger for $7/hour.

In my younger years I worked at an Arby's. By the time I quit I was making $10 per hour. I have no doubt I would have eventually worked my way up to $15 per hour if I had stayed on.
likely because you were a good employee and didn't greet people with "what chu want?"
these people want to make a ton of money while remaining shitty employees.

That's not true. The secretary at my office makes like $25k and has been here for a long time. I'd be surprised if she gets to over $31k before she retires. And amazingly, she's happy with her job and doesn't piss and moan about deserving more money.

Why stop at $15? Let's make it $20.

That can be automated as well.

The sooner the scourge of SEIU is removed from this country, the better.

Fast-food workers, already a potent political force, are planning their largest nationwide strike yet next week and this time will leverage their crusade for a $15-an-hour wage in a bid to sway the 2016 presidential election.
Soon to be an unemployed political force.

These people need to realize that if they want to increase their earning potential, they need to acquire new skills that are in demand. It's very much ok if you want to have a career with McDonalds but don't just sit there for 10 years at the fryer and cry about you're not making enough money to make ends meet. Look within McDonalds to see where and what you have to do to make your next move to that will increase your earnings. In my teens and college years I've worked at low wage places like Walmart and McDonalds, but I've never allowed myself to settle to being content with working for such a low wage. So, while I was working I studied hard and got a degree which led to me drastically improving my earning potential. Yeah, I know every situation is different, but there are a lot of people out there who doesn't even want to try and have everything handed to them.

I've never met a disgruntled Chick fil A employee and have always received great customer service there
