NEVER through ductwork. I have seen it go through a 'chase', then into an attic. From there to a gable A-vent or even over to a soffit. Is this another issue at the house with the uneven carport?

BTW, If this is somewhat related to one of your 'jobs', some method of eliminating a 'problem'...I hope you are using due discretion.

No - looking at some camp plans where w/d are located in the middle of the house. These plans are for pier & beam construction where dryer can be vented into crawl space. I'd like to use a variation of these plans on a concrete foundation - some of the venting solutions I found online were along the lines of what I described earlier. Doesn't sound very efficient to me.

Without looking at the plans, but knowing w/d are usually contained in a small area, I think you could vent it upwards through a wall. More than one story will likely be tough to do though. Dryer will struggle to push warm damp air up that far. If two stories, then turn it through the ceiling/floor cavity and out a side wall...but still as close as possible.

Single story.

I lived in an apartment once that had w/d centrally located but it never crossed my mind how the dryer vented. Was a mere lad at the time and had other much more pressing matters to consider.

I saw a system once that blew into a 'bowl' of water. It bubbled up but caught what lint came through and reminded me of a bong.

At least what a friend told me a bong was like.

Is this thread a shite show yet?

Hope y'all are getting off soon and headed out for a fun weekend.

Going to see some parades this weekend. Maybe drink a few.

Hell, I think I'm a double down on what I've been drinking.

The dryer would need one helluva lint trap for your idea to work.

For Joe's camp dryer?

My pc seems to be working right now...I am sure the things you suggested have helped.

Solid...Map, I saw no ideas about the dryer....something is missing...Is it my perception? Reality?

I wish some of the cooler posters were here to judge us.
