have u considered getting a job? no offense, just asking.

My husband is a CEO of multi-location company. He works extraordinary hours and travels a good bit. I “retired” from my high high/high travel job to raise our son and my husbands schedule just doesn’t allow me to go back to working the same field I was in before. On top of that, I am responsible for a lot of event planning and networking events for his job which takes a lot of time to plan, organize and act as hostess. He runs the company, I handle the employee event planning and networking with other company execs from the industry. Believe it or not, that takes a lot of time. I am also very involved in fundraising which takes time but crosses over a lot into the networking actually.

My son is also entering his junior year of high school and also taking 2 college courses a semester this year with his high school schedule. I will have to take on the bulk of college visit planning and helping him adjust to the time management and planning required for the college courses while juggling his high school schedule.

My husbands career requires a lot of support from me and my son is in an important transitional time in his life. I feel the need to be available for both to succeed.
