Just read a local article about police stopping kids from throwing the football. Said it was due to needing to enforce the governor's Order and that infection can spread by the ball.

If it's that bad, shouldn't we all completely close down?

If you do go, I suggest having your fricking papers in case the brown shirts decide you are the one they want to frick with.

IN.

Not all heroes wear capes. Some of us just wear white coats.

Don't be that guy.

I'm sure you never complain about anything, and walk around with a permagrin on your face whistling zippity doo dah all day long.

Yeah, I complain all the time. But there’s a difference between complaining about it being chilly and bitching about your job while 10 million people file for unemployment over a 2 week period.

Generalize much?

I’ve a letter in my car saying I am an essential worker and I can travel to the office. I’ve been working from home for 3 weeks now.

Cant work from home. Neighbors would be pissy if a helicopter landed in front of the house, or do something dumb like walk into the tail rotor...diced dickhead.

y office is open and we can go in if we want. I'm strongly considering it just to get the hell out of the house

Meet had a girl resign last week and I had to meet her to pick up her assets. Naturally, we met at the office and she handed the laptop bag and was on her way. I went inside to pick up something from my desk and it’s a freaking ghost town. 1000 employees on a normal day and all I saw was the guard up front.

Surreal. I may go in one day this week too just to say I did.

I hope she had a well-thought reason. Can't collect that big unemployment $$$, if you quit.

The definition of essential is too broad.
Car dealerships, smoothie stands, candy stores snowball stands, mattress stores and payday/ title loan places are essential by current definition.

I think we should but we aren't

We've got standard CDC guidelines/sanitation standards to follow

I don't see anything changing in the next 8 weeks

I'm essential. Our whole office is in full operation. I drive home from work in the evening, and the levy is full of large groups of kids. They are either playing, training or praying.
