JNCO

blows my mind how this ever became a thing. It was only the freaks/outcasts/weirdos that wore them, but stores couldn't keep those things on the shelves. Aaahhh the 90s..

Yeah I did grade, middle, and High school all in the 90's and remember kids wearing Jncos but I never owned or even tried on a pair. I don't think I was ever even friends with someone that owned a pair. I'm sure I may have bought pot from someone that sported them doe.

Red Cotton Denim. Can be purchased for around $150 per pair. All Selvedge Denim and handmade by one guy in Oakland. Best jeans I've ever owned.

Why do you need jeans that no one has heard of?

Anything else worth looking at besides Levi and Wrangler (at Levi and Wrangler prices)

I started wearing the Schmidt brand and Blue Mountain brand from Tractor Supply.

The Blue Mountains are pretty decent for $13/pair. They are a lighter denim but seem to hold up well.

The Schmidt jeans are excellent jeans in the $17-$20 range. These are pretty good denim similar to Wrangler Relaxed Fit.

I wear these for work so I don't mind messing them up but they have been surprisingly durable.

Big Star. Salesman pushed them on me, which I really hate, but I tried them on and they fit better than any other jeans I've ever worn. Buffalo has the softest denim I've ever worn - very comfortable. Picked up a pair of Salvage a couple weeks ago and they are the next best thing to the pair of Big Star I have.
ETA: Pay $30 for jeans and you'll get $30 jeans. Unfortunately, sometimes when you pay $150 you get $30 jeans. But if you do it right and pay $150 for $150 jeans, you won't regret it.

I like Van Heusen for jeans. They have an outlet in Gonzales I like to stop by a couple of times a year for new jeans. They are well built and fit well.

I have banana republic jeans going for 5, 7, 10 years currently. They last a long time and are decent looking.
