at least it's not "Neanderthal thinking"

I was actually curious what we were supposed to cover with the second mask that Biden was talking about. Thanks for clearing that up.

But yea, 99.8%, no big deal right?
99.8% is 99.8%, regardless of your own feelings based on your unique experience. It doesn't negate your experience, but it is what it is.
Also, I can confidently say that 99.8% survival rate is inaccurate and that the survival rate is higher than that now. I say this, because I can google "COVID19 IFR" and there is NOTHING. No news, no updates, since September 2020 from American sources. Contrast that with last spring and summer when we got endless reporting about how the IFR of this virus was 10 times higher than the IFR for flu.
You don't have to be a conspiracy theorist to find that suspicious. Couple this with loss of freedom for people who don't take the vaccine, and...
Come on, son.

quote:My son spent a week in the ICU not once but twice from asthma complications due to the very common rhinovirus/enterovirus. Very similar treatment to those admitted due to bad Covid repsiratory issues. So what's your point? Should we shut everything down because my son had a hard time twice? Should I expect everybody to cower down to my "GOTCHA" on an anecdotal level?
I personally know 4 people who have died from COVID-19 and my 42 year old co-worker barely made it out of the hospital.
Give me a break man. People die. People get sick. It's a way of life. You don't shut the whole fricking world down and cower down because of it. What about the little kids who get cancer and have to go to St. Jude? Should you feel guilty because of that, and shut your life down because of it? No. You do what you can to support and feel bad for them, but ultimately at some point you move on with your life too.

Over 800,000 fetuses were aborted in 2019 in this country. Outcry schmoutcry.
Over a million fetuses aborted in 2020! Although the cause of death in nearly 30% of those fetuses were attributed to COVID. So you can keep hiding behind your strawman but the truth will set you free!

And for accuracy’s sake the survival rate will be close to 100% once the vast majority of people are vaccinated. The numbers and studies prove that.

Link to a study that shows long term side effects of the vaccination are non existent? How's this going to effect me in 3 years?
