That's why I laugh at all of the "Best" king cake threads. We all know that it's Randazzos hands down.

That's crazy. I was telling a story to where a couple of my friends and I rode our bikes over the Green Brigde all the way to the Plaza in a Lake Forest. That was a bitch of a journey. We hung out at The Plaza all day, then had to ride home. We never got caught.

I learned to shoot pool there on that nasty, beer infested table in the back room. Dad loved oysters and after Barney's on Chef Hwy closed down, that's where he'd end up going every week. Always dragged me with him. I hate and still hate oysters! LOL

Yep spent a lot of summer nights in that place. We always did CYO/summer league volleyball at Prince of Peace. Seems like we always made our way over there after.

I went to high school in the city BMHS'96.

When I was in elementary school at St. Claude Heights, we'd get to go bowling once a week during P.E. class at the old Arabi bowling alley. I had my own ball, and the walk to the alley felt a lot longer when you were a 9 year old lugging a bowling ball bag.
Loved Racquetball South. My family had a membership when they first opened. I had a wooden racquet - that was a long time ago.

remember Ms. Palmisano who taught English at CMS. She liked to wear short tight skirts. I can't help but think of her whenever there is a "teacher had sex with a student" thread. {Note: Not that she did that]

She went off on my class on time. She said that she was our teacher, not anything for us to be "looking at".

Mr. Bonnette always thought he was gay, even as a 7 yr old.

I wonder what she's up to now?

Last I knew, and this was still very much back then, she was married and living down the street from the Arabi Post Office. Aycock Street, I believe that was.

Yeah that was way back in the day. Friscoville. Friend of mine lived next door. I made a point to go over there as much as possible, hoping to see her.
