The way you infer the difficulty of acquiring a no knock, I'd say one is too many.

I understand the thought, but mistakes are made. LE is made up of humans and humans make mistakes. no body is perfect. But I don't believe they happen as often as you think.
But LE shouldn't be made to look like the villains. Yes mistakes happen and trust me as LE we pay for our mistakes.

But that's not really accurate. In fact, on too many occasssions, it's patently false! The lack of accountability for LE when they mistakenly or negligently cause harm is one of the biggest problems civilians have with LE's and the criminal justice system in general.
Actions that would result in SEVERE punishments for citizens are routinely no-billed...and that's if the allegations even make it that far.

When a LE official is under investigation he/she is placed either on desk duty or sent home paid yes.
and if at the conclusion of the investigation you were found of wrong doing, the punishment is handed out.

No, because even the FBI admits that the data related to police shootings they receive from local departments is incomplete at best, and more likely intentionally inaccurate.

but yes there is an element of politics involved and also we as LE are members of Union that grant some protection.

so we are talking less than 1% of all raids, Id say that's a pretty good number.
look I know some people will never like LE no matter what is said or done, but we do risk our lives and all we want to do it make it home to see our families at night, and maybe making the community a better place in the process.
But the ones who hate us, are the same ones begging for our help when they need it

I am sorry, but thats pure bullshite. Qualified immunity means our tax dollars pay for your mistakes. Even when you "pay" for your mistakes it involves getting a paid vacation, while some innocent citizen is in a morgue or a hospital. I will have more respect for the badge when those who wear stop hiding behind it.
