Curious if anyone has a home blood pressure monitor they really like? I bought an Omron BP7250 that had good reviews but I get very inconsistent readings and a lot of error codes.

I’ve been told the ones for $30 are just as inaccurate and ineffective as the ones for over $100.

Stethoscope kit is by far the best hence why the doctors office uses it.

The machines had me consistently at 140/85 or so. I go to the doctor a few days later and he took it 3 times. The highest stethoscope reading was 118/77.

I have a few...the one I like the best is the Omron BP710N. It’s the same one my cardiologist uses in his office. I bring it to every appointment so I can check it against theirs. If they disagree we take it a third time with a cuff to see which one is incorrect.

As for the errors, I find the greatest source of error messages is when I get lazy and don’t put the cuff on tight enough to start with.
