My theory. His business is on the ropes. He read about the pizza owner that received tens of thousands of donations from sympathetic like minded folks. He's prepping his bank book, not for lunch.

Conservative white butthurt is an under-exploited market with a ton of promise. Folks are looking at what Al and Jesse have accomplished on the other side of the spectrum and licking their chops.
Let's see how this plays out:
1. Shitty business is struggling because no one wants to buy Mexican barbecue.
2. Employ risky controversial marketing ploy that's bound to excite butthurt rednecks, enrage social activists, and cause the rest of us to kinda scratch our heads and roll our eyes.
3. Be boycotted/threatened/sued for duscrimination.
4. Plead poverty and point out how you've been victimized.
5. Start up gofundme account and watch the white butthurt money roll in.
6. Retire
I might start up a crappy business and do this myself. Only question is whether I should ban gays, blacks, or Muslims.

It's not but the way Rubbin Buttz went about this, while great for publicity, will only have white guilters/racists focusing on the discount to only one race aspect of this which technically is illegal. No matter how many times the other side tries to counterpoint about the white appreciation part, the "discussion" won't get past the discount.
Buttz should've just did a White Appreciation Month with legal forms of celebration.
That being said, the publicity probably wouldn't have been there for that as the media know that won't get enough clicks with the aforementioned white guilt/racist crowd.
