Oklahoma and Oklahoma

No joke the range of extreme weather they get annually is pretty wild.

It’ll get up to 105-110 degrees and also get down to 3-8 degrees. Then on top of that it’s relatively humid and always windy. Granted not gulf south humid but it’s noticeably humid.

It’s rare for a single place to get both extremes but Oklahoma sure gets it. I know it’s due to the geographic location. It lays right in a transition zone/crossroads where the cold northern air meets the humid southeastern air and the dry southwestern air along the windy plains.

The Thanksgiving that Leon Lett screwed the pooch was the coldest week I remember. I wasn't in Dallas for that snow. I was watching the game at my brother's in Billings, Montana where it was -16.

September football games are some of my hottest experiences. Tiger stadium for a Miss State game in the 2000's was the third hottest for me. College Station for a game vs. Southern Miss was the 2nd hottest and Austin for a game vs Syracuse was the hottest I've ever been.

The San Antonio SeaWorld parking lot in July was like standing in a furnace

Coldest was on Snowshoe Mountain in West Virginia with temps in the teens and windy.
