Why not? The commute?

The apartments look nice.

Most areas off of FM 1960 is not a good area anymore

It is right across from Westfield high school

That area is about 50% white, 40% Latino and 10% black

That area is sketchy. You're close to Greenspoint. Look directly west of there.

Damn, those apartments are nice; I guess the residents not so much.

I think I may just say frick it and live in Humble for 6 months or so and then once I start going offshore and making the extra money I’ll move closer to the city.

Nah man don't do that. I can help you out with what places are OK, good, or not good in the area. I've looked at a good deal of them myself.

CHECK

Maybe my map pulled up the wrong place. I pulled up an area just south of the loop and just west of 45.

I’m liking that one; it’s close to work and there’s a lot of stuff in that area.

Is that a safe neighborhood? I remember someone earlier say to avoid 1960.

1960 has pockets of good, bad, and OK. That particular area is good to OK. There are some other complexes in that same little pocket. It wouldn't be a bad commute for you either. You can shoot down cutten road and make your way to the beltway and Jersey Village.

so you want to avoid being shot

30-45 minute commute for the type of area your GF is wanting Garden Oaks, you MIGHT find a sketchy apartment for less than 900, but its VERY unlikely

under that price range look at apartments In JV also sketchy as frick, but you can find something that cheap

My gf wants to live on Westheimer where a 1 bedroom runs about $900. IMO that’s a little much.

LMFAO!

The apartment my wife and I live in is 3x that and it's not even great. COL must be low af in Texas.

You've never been outside of south Houston. Don't lie to the man.
