This is a double edge sword. I don't like credit card companies and don't use them at all, but I do have a credit card just incase I need it. That said, when people use a credit card, they know it's high interest.
Trump capping the interest is good for people who ran up their debt and need to get it paid down, but it's also overreach. I don't like the government getting involved in private businesses.
I know it's a temporary cap and I'm curious to see how it all plays out. I don't like it, but I do hope it helps some people get their debt to a manageable point thought I don't believe it will.
I've been in the Austin area for 20 years. What made it a cool place was it being a hippie town. Despite being a decent sized city and having a solid tech industry, it still felt like a small town. Things moved a little slower, people were laid back. You could be sitting at a bar chatting to the person sitting next to you. They could be a multi millionaire and you'd never know it.
Tons of dive bars and locally owned shops.
It was already shifting when I moved here but very slowly. Once they lifted the ban on the skyline downtown and all the apartment buildings came in, it exploded and Austin lost it's identity. Covid was the final nail in the coffin.
Now instead of hippies that just want to be left alone to smoke their pot and enjoy music, they were replaced with the bat shite crazy progressives who care about nothing but themselves.
You don't even see or hear "keep Austin weird" anymore. The people here aren't familiar with it and have no idea about it. All the moms and pops shops have closed up to be replaced with the same corporate chain bullshite that you can get in 15 minutes in either direction.

I keep telling people that Austin is the perfect example of what happens with diversity. Austin has been diversified by people from all over. Massive influx of people from California and NY along with people from India. None of them care about what made Austin Austin. The identity is gone and it's just like every other major metropolis now.
I've come to the conclusion that it's very low IQ people who do that. When I was in school and worked in the plants, it was all over the bathrooms. Same now when I'm in a hospital that is under construction still, hit the port a potty and there's stupidity written all over it. Really dumb construction people can't resist the urge. You don't see this in more upscale areas.

I have the Garmin S62 and love it. I can review each shot from the day and compare to previous rounds. It will show the distances I hit each club, scorecard, and a ton more features I haven't even touched.
I get 25% of my regular pay rate for being on call. If I get called out, it is then OT and double time on Sunday. Minimum 2 hour show up time plus travel even if I'm only there for 15 minutes.
I hate being on call, but I can make some good play money pretty fast.

Just go look at the multiple players already penalized and suspended

This explains nothing. Brooks should be penalized because the PGA penalized others? That's it? How does that make it a good idea? Seems that would only prevent more people from considering rejoining the PGA and push them to double down and try to grow LIV.
It makes no sense and seems petty at best.

Would be dumb as hell to let him back without penalty. Even if you have zero issue with LIV, if you let him back with no penalty you give the green light for every player to leave the PGA tour

Explain this to me like I'm dumb, because I am on the subject.
Why should he and anyone be penalized for rejoining the PGA?

If someone leaves the NFL for the CFL then returns to the NFL, the idea of penalizing them is stupid. You choose what is best for your career, and if LIV offers more money you get it while it's on the table. Why wouldn't you?
PGA and the idea of penalizing people coming back seems like they are trying to have a very eliteist attitude regarding a competing league.
I would think if they want to prove the PGA is the best, they would welcome the best players back with open arms and let LIV fall to a 2nd rate league.
I got Starlink for my camper last year when they cut the price for the satellite in half. It's one of the few products I use that's designed so well that I can't find anything of significance that needs improvement. The interface is very intuitive and easy to navigate with no extra mess. The satellite connects quickly and easily, getting it aligned is ridiculously easy.
Companies should take note of what Elon and his companies are doing. There's a reason why they are all so successful.

daycares in the north Austin area and everything is $400+/week

That's what we are paying, just over $1600 per month for one kid. We have held off on buying my wife a new car for a couple years now because of it. Fortunately, we will be done with daycare in August and free up that money.

Where can I watch TGL?

I missed it live Sunday and can't seem to find it anywhere to stream it. Any ideas?
Ford, I love mine and wouldn't hesitate to buy another.
These guys are professionals, I don't know why anyone would expect them to act any differently.
If it's really that bad, fentanyl will probably fix your issue for you by March.
I told my wife she was fake a year or 2 ago. She wanted to argue with me so I asked her if she's ever met someone from Louisiana that talked like that and it ended the conversation.

I don't doubt that she has a natural country twang to her, but she definitely exaggerates it.

And I'm friends with several incredibly strong, emotionally stable, gay women who if offended by those two juveniles would have addressed the issue face to face.

And I've known gay women who would have farted back on them, laughed about it, then went and had a beer with them.

I recently got a Ghost Golf bag and I'm loving it. Very well made and looks great. They aren't cheap, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.
If Portnoy is still committed to paying Underwood $3 million per year, he won't be leaving Michigan. After this season, no one is going to pay him that much or more.
If Underwood cares more about development and his future in the NFL than he does immediate wealth, then he will be open to taking a pay cut to work with the program that fits him the best to ensure he's in a position to make more in the NFL.
He hasn't played enough to be burnt out because he's always hurt. I think he's more burnt out on being hurt. If he wants longevity in his career, he knows he needs to leave Cincy.

Nothing quite as nice as a trash can 3 days after a crawfish boil
I was downvoted into oblivion for asking the same thing

It would be nice to see him add some of his plays to the offense, but I highly doubt that happens. My best guess is he will be observing a lot with minimal hands on.
