Our dog bit my youngest in the face when she was 3, I think he was startled and it was accidental but he was dead 2 minutes after I got home.
No animal is better than my girls.

Can’t imagine. If my little spaniel or beagle mix were to bite anyone, especially a kid, you’re gonna have win a foot race to beat me to my back yard to shoot it in the head. No excuse for a dog that was trained right to ever bite someone.
How about when a child that wasn't raised right barges into your house without knocking, talking loud, and causes the dog to start barking and running towards the door, then, the child kicks said dog causing the dog to lose its shite and bite his leg? Cause that's happened to me.
Fortunately, the kid's dad was cool about it and said he shouldn't have just barged in. Previously, you'd have to really try to get that dog to bite anyone.
Careful throwing out the "No excuse" line.
