My stupid atheist cousin came this year so we made a tofu turkey

Can't believe he'd ruin a Christian holiday with his atheist bs

Frying it. Its a tradition for my dad and I to drink beer outside and fry the turkey on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

You are going to love those memories, don't take it for granted.

Absolutely not. I'm half shitfaced and the turkey still has 30 minutes to cook. My dad is pounding white cans and I'm working on a bottle of Bulleit. fricking love the holidays

My MIL hosts, and she wants to cook the turkey so she can complain the rest of the night about having to do all the cooking. In years past, I have brined and baked turkeys myself with a herb/butter coating. I have also fried. But she puts it in a bag and dries it out.

I fried a turkey for the first time today. It was incredibly easy, fast and delicious. I'll never eat roasted turkey again
