I worked at firework stands in high school. Highest paying part time job I ever had. Too bad it was seasonal. I unloaded many shipping containers from China.

I tried to buy some from the stand in my grocery store parking lot. The local youth helped me realize I’ve got better stuff to spend my money on.

Fireworks are absurdly marked up. A buddy of mine used to work for a distributor and what the normal person buys for 2-300 bucks is enough to have fun… what he could get for the same money would fill the back end of a pickup
