I’ll never forget being at a Brooks and Dunn concert about 2 weeks after that all went down. There were 2 beer stands on the floor. One only had Bud Light. Literally didn’t see one person in the line all night, while the other stand had a 15 minute wait. And people seemed happy to wait. Half way through the night the concession workers started trying to pour the bud light into cups instead of giving out the cans, in hopes that people would give in, but it didn’t work.
And I would have been getting BLs the whole night without missing much of the concert.

That’s because a lot of the people who “boycotted” Bud Light are too stupid to realize they’re still giving their money to AB through other brands.
Drinking Modelo is a safe bet

As far as swill beer goes, Bud Light has always sucked.

A little help here:
King studied 133 political boycotts from 1990 to 2005 and none of them accounted for more than a 1% drop in sales for a company; the Bud Light boycott had resulted in an estimated 18% drop in all AB InBev sales.
Nearly two years later, Bud Light has yet to win beer lovers back; sales remain roughly 40 percent below where they were before the boycott began.Feb 7, 2025.
