So is his dad the manager of Huck Finns? Same name for the manager shows up as someone involved with mcallisters and twin peaks in New Orleans as well.

Looking at that receipt and from experience of being in the restaurant industry for a quite a while, servers don't have free reign on giving discounts. Comped items like this require a manager card of some sort for approval. So the question really becomes who actually comped this receipt. If the kid was given the manager card to make a comp, then the manager on duty is just as much responsible as the kid because a manager is ultimately responsible for items comped with their manager card. Now if a manager comped it which is standard practice, and added those comments then the kid might not have even known it was on the receipt. If that's the case then holy frick what a nightmare.
