And what happens to all the foreign money that is tied up in NYC real estate not as second homes but as a place to park large amounts of cash. What happens to the housing market prices if the Chinese and other foreign entities dump these properties?

Most interesting thing in the video is those she’s testifying before telling her to wrap her story up. They had zero interest in hearing what she had to say

Speaking of the titanic, has anyone been watching the Magellan channel on YouTube and their HD scans of the Titanic? The details it reveals are fascinating. They have also been releasing HD footage of the Bismark battleship as well..

for sure. It was actually his DC office that called me too, not one of the local ones. It will be interesting to see what becomes of it

The entire military comp/benefits system needs a massive overhaul but that’s just not politically appealing and it will probably never happen.
In regards to the medicare part B penalties, A few weeks back I was going through my parents finances after my mom passed of cancer, and that is when I realized my dad was being assessed a 90 percent penalty. After doing some digging, that's when I discovered how hard the penalty was affecting vets. You've got to remember, most of them have been under VA healthcare for close to 40 years by the time enrollment rolls around. Enrolling for Medicare Part B is not something they actively consider but when they do get around to it, they get whacked with penalties...
I will say that I sent out emails to senators and congressmen, as well as a few members that sit on Veteran committees, and to their credit both Senator Britt's office and congressman Palmer's office both called me seeking additional info, because they were stunned that no waiver for vets existed. Senator Tuberville's office also sent me several emails, but I never received a call. So who knows. hopefully it will gain some traction.

Ive got one for you. My dad is a Purple Heart Vietnam vet who lost the majority of his hearing when his eardrums were blown out after the vehicle he was riding in hit a landmine..Subsequent doctors over these years have diagnosed him with having all of the signs and symptoms of TBI or traumatic brain injury.. Does he qualify for certain disability related to it? No, because at the time of his injuries, TBI was not classified as a disability like it is now. Furthermore, the VA says too much time has passed for him to be diagnosed with it, despite several doctors diagnosing him with it.
Another fun nugget. Most people don’t realize Medicare does not count VA healthcare as valid coverage for delaying enrollment in Part B. Employer-sponsored insurance qualifies, but VA coverage doesn’t. If you delay enrolling, Medicare hits you with a lifetime penalty of 10% for every 12 months you go without Part B. There’s no exemption for veterans. So if a vet relies on the VA and waits 5 years to enroll, they’re looking at a 50% higher Part B premium, for life.

Trump said he would veto a federal abortion ban. He is complicit in child sacrifice.
The argument for decades was that it should be left up to each individual state to decide. That is where we currently are at. If you then turn around and ban it at the federal level, you are undercutting the very argument you made for decades. Banning it at the federal level galvanizes a push to then legalize it at the federal level. Why shoot yourself in the dick during a mid term election year by opening a new front in a war that you won?

How so? They have been ordered removed from the country. Their job is literally to detain and remove. Don’t cry about due process when you illegally snuck into the country and snubbed your nose at the system when you were ordered to leave!

No shite. If finishing off the Iranian regime is not the ultimate goal, then there was no point in any of this. It would be incredibly stupid to run fuel prices up a couple dollars a gallon in exchange for concessions at the negotiating table that aren’t worth the paper they’re written on.

Not to add on to the somberness of one passing away, but you said your dad has his own life issues. Are you thinking it's a short time window until his passing, or is it manageable where you think he still has a 10-15+ year window remaining.
My dad has both MDS and Crohn’s disease. At his very worst he was down to 95lbs. Currently he’s back up to 115 and climbing with his appetite really improving and just overall better treatment. If you’d asked me at the first of the year I’d say it would be a miracle if he reached June, but now I’m much more optimistic. Certainly anything can change, but I’m thinking long term 5 to 10 years.
Life Insurance Payout
Posted by Blizzard of Chizz on 4/9/26 at 12:17 pm
Long story short, my mom passed away a few weeks ago after a long battle with cancer. My dad who now lives with me because of his own health issues was the beneficiary of her life insurance policy. After funeral expenses and clearing up the very few debts my mom had, he has just over 100k in cash remaining from the payout.. In addition to that he receives approximately 4k a month in VA and social security benefits. He's 76 and debt free other than a few bills that total around 500 dollars a month..
what is the best way to protect his money for him, so that it's there to cover any unexpected expenses, or care that might arise in his final years? Should I move it to a high yield savings account or into a money market account or should I take a different approach?

This is why you can’t make a deal with them and why no deal made with them has ever been successful. You can’t negotiate in good faith with them. In order to move forward, you must finish the job!

Ok, I’ll say it. The biggest losers in all of this are the Iranian people. For weeks we’ve told them to wait and when the time comes take back their government. So now what? Are we just going to leave them at the mercy of the regime?

The hand wringing is silly. We are hitting something tonight but it’s not bridges and power plants. More than likely it’s the marines seizing key areas in the Strait of Hormuz and reopening it to shipping. Everybody is watching the left hand, no one is watching the right.

It amazes me that after 10 years of Trump being in the political sphere that there are those among us who still fail to realize when Trump intentionally plays up the crazy lunatic role.. The psychology is simple, unlike the lunatics in Iran who hide underground and issue threats they can’t really back up, “lunatic Trump” can’t simply be dismissed. He has the most advanced military and weaponry in the history of the world at his fingertips. If he says Tuesday is bridge and power plant day, you have to believe he isn’t bluffing. On the flip side, you absolutely have to believe the IDF will destroy these things and not bat an eye.

As I pointed out yesterday, this country is somewhat unique in that it’s made up mostly of former English, French and Spanish colonies. The growth of the country had to deal with what are essentially citizens of a foreign crown suddenly being absorbed into the nation whether it was acquiring Florida from Spain, French from the Louisiana territory or Spanish and Mexican citizens within Texas. To me that is where the “falls under the jurisdiction of the United States” comes into play, because you literally had foreign citizens living in a new country overnight.. it was never intended to be this catch all umbrella for foreigners where as long as you spit out a kid here, the kid is a citizen.
