We lived in Jones Valley and loved it. We were zoned for Jones Valley Elementary, Huntsville Middle and Huntsville High. The private school Randolph is also in that area. A lot of our friends live in Blossomwood and love it. If I was moving back, I would choose between those. Great neighborhoods for families.

Property value here is absurd now! We built a house in September 2015... appraised for $170,000 (not an OT baller) and now we could sell for $210,000.

Hemp, stop hatin on Limestone County... East Limestone and Athens is advancing rapidly. West Limestone, not so much.

Piss on that... my job is loving the growth... more Athens grows, the less I have to go to Huntsville!

Been able to play Canebrake much recently?

P.S. I heard there is a badass new biscuit place on 31 S right before you get to Sanderfer Rd.

I play Canebrake once a week, at least!

Biscuit place around Sandefer? Would have to be Two Sisters... but never ate there... my office is right between 31 and 65, on Hsv-Brownsferry Rd.

Everyone knows who you are. There aren't many tall honkeys that grew up playing canebrake.

Yeah, Blair was good friends with my oldest brother and Craig was a year or two younger than me. Their grandfather (is he still alive?) was the marshall when I worked there in HS.

My cracker arse had a regular education at James L. Cowart. Are you saying they have specialized curriculum at Brookhill, Athens, Julian Newman, and Cowart?

My class was the first to go K-5 at Brookhill.

About the Athens Academes
quote:

In the spring of 2017, Athens City Schools announced the Athens Academies. Beginning fall 2018, each elementary school in the ACS district will open as a themed academy. Athens Elementary will be a computer science academy, Brookhill will be a fine arts academy and Julian Newman will be a health and medical academy. SPARK Academy at Cowart is in its first year as a wall-to-wall STEM academy.

I vaguely remember Blair. He was 3 years ahead of me in school.
