People doing that crap won't have the balls to show their self in here again.

They just wanted to get someone to argue with.

Will that still be in the cone? Should we move the cone to I-10 or just do away with the cone completely and go back to the dark ages?

Where is notknowingnight when I need his expertise?

IT seems like the eye is about 25 miles due south of Kathleen. Is that what you are seeing?

The eye is a bit of a misnomer at this point. Looking at a bunch of veolcity tilts, center somewhere just SSSE of Fort Meade maybe. Don't take that to the bank, its not easy to tell exactly where it is.

Damn. We had four limbs just miss our roof. No power but all things considered pretty lucky.

It's bad for Florida a skinny state with oceans on both sides, I hope you all stay safe.

I'm in Pasco County (Zephyrhills) and we are just now getting the high winds. Supposed to be 70-100mph winds from 11:00 tonight through 6:00 in the morning. I feel God though. I think this could have been a lot worse for us. We are back home and hunkered down. I just pray that power is not lost for days. We have lost it three times already tonight, but it has came back on within 5 minutes each time it has gone out. I'm assuming and preparing for the worst but I think we will be ok. I appreciate everyone that has helped in this thread. I've been caught dead on by 2 tornadoes while living in TN and I can honestly say that this hurricane doesn't even compare to those 2 tornadoes. They gave me PTSD and have had me stressed beyond belief for 3 days now. I think we get some wind tonight and probably lose power for a good while but our house and our lives are going to b just fine. Again, thank you to all the pros in this thread from day 1. I would not be prepared as well as we are if not for you La folks who have given a ton of info on how to prepare and how to watch what this thing is doing. TD is , mostly , filled with genuine, good people. I'm thankful for TD and it's members. Thank all of you from my family.

That stinks. We vacation there. The beach houses haven't recovered from last years storm.
