Lee is either feeling the SW shear that was mentioned earlier in the thread or he’s going through an eye wall replacement cycle.

HAFS sees the structural changes this morning. Lets it weaken (i mean a little) before another round of strengthening.
It isnt an EWRC on there. So Id guess a little shear might be the reason for the intensity drop this morning.

I’m vacationing in the middle of the Atlantic this week, can someone let me know if I’ll be affected by this thing?

You should know better than to vacation in the Bermuda Triangle in September

Did you just assume Lee's gender? You're a bigoted shitlord.

You seriously googled the storm surge of Katrina to “gotcha” someone on a message board who lived through its wrath? Jesus, you are the worst kind of poster on here
If your home was at ground level where this storm hit, would it matter if the storm surge was 35ft or “28.3”ft?
Posted on 9/8/23 at 8:32 am to WilWood
Its not like it was actually 7 feet and he claimed 35
28.3
28.3

do Waveland MS, and then factor in the 120 mph wind and the fact that storm surge as reported does not include wave height. 35' was spot on for where i was

Meanwhile, in the EPac, Typh....uhhh....Hurricane Jova has rapidly deintensified. It is now a Cat. 2 storm.

"Weakening" being a relative term here. An EWRC is likely ongoing.

Think of it more as taking a deep beath before a child having a kicking and screaming fit.
A 350 lb. child.
