Folks had farm in Stone Co, Arkansas from the mid 70s until 2009. Can’t tell you how many times place was broken into, but it was quite often.

Poverty is not the root cause of crime, but you did identify the main reason you weren’t a criminal, and why many poor kids are because they don’t have one.

All we need is a time machine. They force George Washington to send the slaves back and ban the Hebrews from America. Well we'd have streets paved with gold by now muilt colonies on Mars by now with all the money wasted on these 2 groups

There are certain demographics that commit more violent crimes than other comparable demographics regardless of income. You'll never guess who it is.

Thanks for sharing.
I live in a beautiful state known as, California, that came up with areas known as inclusion zones, it's where they take what would be an otherwise nice new neighborhood and include low income housing. Our neighborhood has this in the form of low income apartments in a separate (but equal) building on the outskirts of the neighborhood. The crime we have seen from these dogshit apartments, mostly limited to break-ins, would refute your point.
