So where should I send my paycheck to buy indulgences...err...I mean help fight global warming?

Yes, the climate changes as it always has.
First we called it global warming and that wasn’t specific enough because “the earth core is getting cooler”. Now climate change, “ the climate has always been changing”
Now ever time anyone is referring to it we need to say “a significant increase in the change of our climate caused by humans actions, unlike the natural change that planet makes”
Would this help you?

This has not been proven.

imho, anyone that thinks Humans can change the Earth's climate is wrong.
We're little peons on this planet. The Earth is gonna do what the Earth is gonna do,and we're just along for the ride.

That's not proof.
That's supposition and theory based on selective data. Which conveniently ignores contradictory data.
Funny that. It's almost like government scientists who are paid by taxpayer funds have a vested interest in reporting findings that maintain their taxpayer funds, and ignoring data that doesn't.

Dumbass...
Is the global climate changing? Yes.
Is it at least partly man-made? Yes.
Are there steps we can take to help? Probably
Are there steps we can take to help that won't send us back to preindustrial times or cripple the world economy? This is the argument we should be having.

That and the fact any additional steps we take won't matter because we (the US and the west) aren't the problem.
Until China and India decide to act, anything we do is just virtue signaling at best, and redistribution of wealth via pseudoreligion at worst.

It's called Geoengineering. Look it up. Spray the skies and manipulate the weather via NORAD.
Posted on 2/11/20 at 8:32 am to reo45
Well of course the climate is changing, it’s been changing since the dawn of time. Most of south Louisiana used be under the ocean and ice once covered half of North America.
None of this is man-made and there’s not a damn thing we can do about it except adjust and adapt accordingly.
That’s the difference between people like me and the sky screamers who want to ban all fossil fuels and tax us into oblivion in their futile attempts to stop climate change.

I agree.
That doesn't make climate change a hoax though.

WRONG!!!
It was Mastodon farts. Get your evolution history correct.

I’m willing to discuss how man produced CO2 effects global temperatures...do we get credit for burning enough shite to prevent the ice age that almost killed us?

Unlike the scientists paid by the fossil fuel industry. They have no vested interest.

I never said they didn't. The difference is I can see the vested interest on both sides, where you seem to conveniently ignore the one that supports your position.

So you believe no one. Everybody’s wrong. You’ll know the answer when you find time to become a climate scientist
