re: I guess the labor shortage has reached Whole Foods (Baton Rouge)

We’ve gotten items unavailable and surprise substitutions from Whole Foods, but that could have more to do with the employees loading the bags than any inventory issue.

Ya'll must have never run a business. There is plenty of crap to cut and pay your employees well.
I never said $10/hr was a career, I said $10/hr isn't worth working for with the cost of everything today. A kid can't even afford a date after an 8 hour shift of $10/hr today.
The dollar is worth less, labor is not, you pay or go out of business.

Damn, I thought I was lazy by ordering online and picking it up in person.

Agreed. I've discovered items I love on certain days of the week at Fresh Market, which I'd have never found ordering online.
I did the delivery thing a few times from Whole Foods, and once from Walmart, and I still had to go out and get items they supposedly didn't have in stock so it didn't make my life much easier.
I'd rather just pick a store that isn't a hellhole madhouse like those two are, and go in person. If you pick stores that don't get awful crowds, grabbing groceries isn't stressful or a pain in the arse at all.
Calandro's, Robert, Matherne's, and Fresh Market are all basically stress free as far as the shoppers/crowds go.

Whole Foods sucks donkey dick anyway... a bunch of tree-hugging democraps.
Pretty sure their CEO is at least somewhat based. All the left leaners boycotted WF over his op-ed piece on healthcare.

I go to the grocery every single day. Small neighborhood place that has 95% of what I need. They have decent wine and beer selections and I can walk there in less than two minutes. For seafood and prime beef I go Langenstein's uptown.

Yes I’m unhappy that the service I paid for and the service that was offered by the company wasn’t fulfilled. I held up my end and they sure as hell charged my card. They didn’t hold up on their end and deliver me the items paid for or the service offered.
Some of you are dense as hell.

I happily pay my monthly Instacart fee to avoid plebs at the grocery store.

Amen, brother. My wife has taken to ordering groceries online and picking them up, later. I can't stand that shite. There's nothing like making a list and shopping in person.
