You should examine where that insecurity comes from though.
I am. It seems to come from your imposter syndrome, but we can dig in if you want.
Why are we talking about me? Is this some sort of self fulfilling prophecy attempt?

What makes you think that I have imposter syndrome?
And we’re talking about you because you put up some sort of weird facade of expertise by describing how much you've studied and how elite you are at your profession, you doofus. It was odd.

How did you respond to that post that was very clearly meant to disturb your insecurities that were bubbling up? Did I get you to say you're somewhat of an expert yourself maybe?
This is my job on Saturdies btw. Well more like a hobby since I'm not paid to mess with people on TD.

I just realized you followed me to this thread to talk about the post in question. Boy oh boy do we need to get into that.

A lot of atheists pretend not to be atheists in these threads.
Certainly, you've noticed that.
No idea why they do that...

Sorry to tell you but all religion stories are largely made up. I know that’s hard to deal with.
Islam… made up. Hinduism … made up. Buddhism … made up. And yes … Christianity … made up.
I’m sure you can explain to me that Christianity just happens to be the one that got it right and I’m headed to the made up place you call hell.
I’m also sure that your beliefs have nothing to do with the fact that you happened to be born into a Christian society. No doubt you would have found your way to the “real Jesus” even if you had been born in Saudi.
FYI … I believe there is something bigger out there. But the chance that any one society developed the correct religion is basically 0.0.

Don't be absurd.
Everyone know that the Mormons are the ones that got it right.

That’s not really accurate. The Quran is written to be a companion to the existing Bible. It heavily references existing passages as existing passages. The entire premise of the Quran is that God is annoyed that humans managed to frick up his revelation again, so now he’s going to lay out word for word rules, and a lot of that is “clarifying” Bible passages.
I came only for the lost sheep of Israel... to fulfill the law (Law=Torah).... to restore that which had been corrupted. And conveniently ignored as not important or somehow can't be true or utterly rejected with supersessionism.
And yes, Muhammad traces back to Ibrahim through Ishmael. So same family which was accomplished without using any replacement theology. And they were both according to verse "Beloved of God."
The similarity, message, and intent is much more closely related than most would care to acknowledge. And the misinformation 1500 years in the making and guided by two churches at war with each other. We always demonize the enemy, else we wouldn't do what we do to each other. Because what we call truth today is not what you often find when reading what the victors had rewritten... Rome, Catholicism, Protestantism, ... each in it's own time. .... IE: TLDR

Great point, except the last Crusade was roughly 800 years ago and accomplished nothing

One could argue that the last crusade accomplished no subsequent crusades and also accomplished a subtitle to a solid Indiana Jones movie.

Jesus was a prophet in islam
A want-to-be warlord basically ripped off Judaism and Christianity, molded it to appeal to violent inbred goat herders- then used it to enrich himself, SA women and children, murder, pillage, and conquer an Eastern Roman Empire weakened by centuries of conflict with the Sassians and steppe nomads.
He also was a willing participant in an all man romp while he made his buddy watch in a cuck circle drawn in the sand
That latter part is 100% true according to islamic text

True but it's wearing off. We might need one extra coat.

You literally followed me to this thread to cry that I told you I was good at my job. And we literally exchanged words 30 seconds before that post.
Sincerely, there is something wrong here, and it ain't the guy fricking around with you.

Very understandable with all of the media misinformation. It's that other world religion that passionately hates Jesus and his followers.
