The Front Range urban corridor will be a megalopolis if those in the area ever commit to expanding their mass transportation options.
they are in process of doing it. the problem is population density is too low to make most transit work.

Mass transit in general is a waste of money, mostly because the govt is involved which equals waste.
5 billion to build a light rail from downtown Denver to DIA lollllllllll

Mass transit in Denver is legit. It's not like they are CATS. If anything, the problem with Louisiana is that we are 50 years behind the times on that. A lot of people here view mass transit the way you do, which is the problem.
It's also why traffic is horrendous here.

Traffic is bad in cities with good mass transit.

The worst traffic I ever experienced in Denver wasn't shite compared to Baton Rouge or New Orleans.
By the way, a light rail from DIA to downtown Denver is a great idea.

Denver is awesome. Based on your description of why you love NOLA, you must hate just about every city in US. As few allow open container and have 24 hour bars.

I've said this numerous times. Denver and Austin are the two most over rated cities in America. Yeah they are nice and all but people act like they are Mecca.
Compared to New Orleans they are, but thats because i dont care for piss in the street smell and fearing for my life when i walk down the cities most famous street.

Never been to to Denver, was supposed to fly out in the morning to visit family that moved there, but kiddo caught the flu. Gonna have to push my first visit back 6 weeks. Really was hoping to be in the mountains tomorrow by noon.

Does NOLA have a murderous devil horse guarding the airport?
I didn't think so.
Also, John Elway is gonna kick your arse..

well, no.
Well, yes. I was there in November when the first big winter storm hit and below 0 an 0% humidity felt less cold than coastal alabama does in the 20's with 70% or more humidity.
