Interestingly enough, Adderall helps me personally the most with the conditions you listed. That being said, I’d definitely advise to tread carefully as amphetamines can absolutely exasperate anxiety in some (probably most) people. It helps me tremendously however (and is legal with a script, which is easy as shite to get).

Not sure if you are avoiding due to work, but Ms. Cotten and I either eat an edible or hit a cart a few times nearly every night before bed. For immediate anxiety relief or to relax, there’s honestly not a whole lot out there better than good ol’ Mary Jane.

therapy needs to be part of this answer. Mirco dosing(true micro not half a gram(not a micro) alone is not the answer. I am married to a therapist who is starting certain PTSD trials that involve this therapy. Both can work but micro dosing alone is not the answer.

Can someone tell me how shrooms and other psychedelics, can treat mental illnesses? I’ve never done shrooms before, but I did do LSD once, and that was a wild arse time. I just feel that psychedelics can cause your anxiety or paranoia to get worse, just in my experience though. I had the anxious feeling in my stomach the entire trip, but I guess settings, and your mindset can make the trip more therapeutic.

I'd always heard/read that acquiring the materials is 100% legal (same with marijuana seeds). It's only if you actually produce plants or mushrooms it becomes illegal.

This, just micro-dosing isn’t solving any of your actual deeper issues which is what really needs to be addressed. It’s just a part of the pie

My friends in Oregon love them and even grow them in the basement.

Don’t know the science behind microdosing…apparently. However, shrooms I’ve heard change your perception of normal things. Life’s about perspective and anytime you can step outside your comfort zone I consider that therapy.

Imo it's very unpredictable

I've done a fair (a lot) amount of both. All of my strongest trips were on LSD.

A common theme I’ve found with them is a lack of purpose once the shine of military heroics wears off. Whether it’s that lack of dopamine hit of congratulations from the general public or adrenaline blast from combat

Psychedelic drugs increase plasticity in your brain. This means it makes it easier to adjust thought processes and neurological links to experiences. Taking them without guides may or may not help some, but the recommendation is to have you guided through the experience and to use that increase in plasticity in combination with therapy, to fix the broken parts. *That’s a very simplistic explanation.

Microdosing isn't as effective as "macrodosing" if your aim is to cure PTSD, Anxiety, or Depression. Higher doses in controlled, therapeutic environments have been clinically shown to work quite well. There are clinics popping up all over the place offering this. Ketamine is another, similar option. Do some research.

Agree. Huge believer in macrodosing and that other sciency shite you mentioned.
