I watched Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back as a kid, but got bored with the series after that.
Never saw the allure of Star Trek.

You're not really missing anything. It's goofy, childlike, nostalgic, unrealistic sci-fi.
For more realism - Star Trek the Next Generation

If you say you have never seen star wars you are a liar. You just think you're edgy

Neither have I. I have never had any interest in Star Wars or Star Trek.

Where did I say I've never seen Star Wars?
I think I seen the first two. I may have seen the third one. I'm not sure. I haven't seen any of the ones after that.
And for the record, the original Star Trek series was absolutely terrible. Worse than anything Star Wars ever put out and by extension so where the first two seasons of ST:TNG.
Start at season 3 of Star Trek the Next Generation. Best sci-fi series ever created.

It depends, for people who were children when they launched or saw the originals in the original era, they were fantastic.
I never saw the originals until a few years ago, they are sort of goofy and visually boring - but I can readily see how they’d have been so groundbreaking when launched that they’d inspire the nostalgia everyone has.

I saw the first one when it was still in theaters - it was okay, but I haven't felt any desire to see any others.
