Back then there was no counseling from the school, no mention of it even. The only ones affected really were his family, the rest of us dealt with it in our own way and turned out fine. Oh well, guess the schools get to provide jobs for all those social workers, and other shrinks, on the taxpayers backs. Otherwise be a bunch more wasted college degrees asking if we wanna super size those fries.
I haven't seen many of your opinions, but the ones I can recall are pretty fricking stupid.

Yeah it was. He went to mandeville high school. He was a senior and just turned 18 according to his Instagram.

It's been 2 this week at Mandeville High school. 2 kids have taken their lives. I knew Nathaniel personally and it's sad what happened. Out of anyone I know, he would have been the last person I would have guessed. He was a goof ball at times because he enjoyed the attention but he did entertain others and had a unique personality that everyone enjoyed. It's crazy what's gone on this week and it's only Wednesday.

Wtf? Nobody from my year did that from either MHS, SPS, or SSA. Wonder what the deal is

I hate to see when young people do this. Sad all the way around

I talked to him in passing several times. Appeared to be a good kid.

3 shots? Never heard of a 3 shot suicide.
Not trying to be disrespectful, breaks my heart for everyone involved.

It's weird that everyone on there is saying "rest in peace" instead of "don't do it"

That video is so very sad. His poor family.

I went back as far as my phone let me. Seems like there was a good amount of time between the video and the incident for people to see it and do something. Maybe they thought he was just joking around

We had two maroons try to kill themselves in boot camp. The first idiot tried cutting his wrists with a single blade plastic razor. He made a mess and got recycled back to training day 1. The second guy, this turd took an buffer and placed it by the window of his bunk and tied the cord around his neck and jumped out the window when the firewatch wasn't around. Long story short, the buffer had a 50 foot cord and the kid hit the ground and broke his leg. This kid got recycled back to training day one as well once his leg healed and we were only 4 weeks from graduating.
