My husband and I are both teachers, and we agree that teachers really have nothing to complain about.
I LOVE what I do in making a difference in students' lives, and together we make more than our neighbor with a stay at home wife and kids that never see him.
Also our time together with our family for over 15 weeks out of the year is PRICELESS!
Some people just like to complain, make fun of/judge others for something they are clueless about, or have their priorities messed up.
Either way - Happy Holidays and enjoy your time with family and friends!

We have two teenage daughters currently and are considered pretty likable by our students. I just hope we can stay this way a few more years even after our own are away at college to still make a few more differences in our future's lives!
An important job someone has to do that neither of us take lightly just like this parenthood thing!

I have a teacher on my FB who posts daily teacher statuses. It's gotten comical.
"You know you're a kindergarten teacher when you're on fall break and can tell the time by how hungry you are."
You know, because people who work normal jobs don't get hungry around the same time every day...
