Most of the poorer neighborhoods I work keep their pits on an outside heavy chain. Not much training or nurturing there, just a living deterrent to anyone snooping around.

I bet 9 out of 10 people ITT couldn't pick an actual pit bull out of a line up. Also, most pit bull attacks are improperly reported because people don't know what actual pit bulls look like.

Lol no it wasn't a pitbull. It said in that article the dogs each weighed about 125 lbs. The heavier end of the pitbull breed weight range is half of that. Pits are considered so dangerous because people like you are clueless about dog breeds and think everything is a pitbull, even if it is clearly not a pitbull.

That's what it is coming down too.
My friend just got out of the hospital yesterday from a Pit Bull attack in Metarie. While in his own backyard the "friendly" Pit Bull charged through a fairly new cedar fence and bit him 6 times. Enough to spend the weekend in the hospital. Thankfully the Pit will never attack anyone again. Police put him down. Home owners insurance will take a big hit on this one.

The nanny dog is the Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Phenomenal dogs. Males only get up to about 38 pounds.

I've had ppl show me statistics of other breeds that percentage wise are more aggressive. The problem is when the pitbull becomes aggressive, they tend to kill or severely maim instead of just a knick on the leg or arm.
