Roger Goodell absolutely loathes the game of football and NFL fans. This halftime show made him all tingly inside.

Could have something to do with the fact the song was advocating for the end of the Cold War, essentially trying to bring people together.
If Nena played a song at the super bowl this year about nuclear disarmament and how evil nuclear weapons are a ton of people , maybe you, would freak out about her being a far left psychopath and post about it endlessly online.
Bad Bunny is not even close to the type of music im interested in but his show didnt do anything offensive or anti american. That was just the pregame frenzy you guys have whipped yourself into.
But I agree it was a dumb choice trying to stir up controversy. The dude doesnt even sing in English.

Nuclear weapons are evil lol, there is nothing positive about them, so they would be right. Sadly, it’s an everything or nothing topic, and MAD has worked thus far. Nice try, to give you some points, if they complained about nuclear power plants, then yes, I’d think it’s retarded.
That’s pretty much my point. I didn’t watch any of superbowl or his show, but that didn’t sound divisive from what people are saying. It’s everything else beforehand, and for me, the fact that he cross dresses and is gay. That’s usually a sign one is also a pedophile. I disagree with the OP, but also disagree with the other poster too.

I didn't understand the lyrics to 99 Luftballons in 1983, but I didnt take it as some kind of cultural crisis.
Ah yes, I remember when Nena played the Super Bowl halftime show and sang the German version instead of the English version they had released for English audiences.

I didn't realize in 2026 Jews were being discrimated against in school.

Catering to smaller or even the minutest percentage of people is always a good idea. Right??? I mean if you just glance at pop culture/commercials, youd think America is mostly gay, Black, Hispanic, and Jewish..not exactly the case.
The Left's focal point of identity politics has created the mindset that belonging to a majority is per se oppression of the minority for no reason other than that they aren't the majority. That means they aren't "included," thus "inclusion" means only those groups they define as being a minority in whatever setting/context.

I’m looking forward to the K-Pop group next year singing entirely in Korean.
BTS next year is gonna be an awesome show. Can you feel it? Can you feel it? Whoa-oh-oh, yeah, whoa, whoa.

I was going to say, BTS probably isn't outside the realm of possibility if they want to get Asians and white girls watching too.
Now that I've had some time to think on it, the symbolism was pretty great for last night's show. He starts in a shitty Puerto Rican neighborhood, carries a football throughout the performance, at one point says "I made it here because I believed in myself," and ends up at the Super Bowl to spike the football. There were a bunch of little nods to Hispanic and American cultures along the way (the wedding was apparently real and was during a song where BB's aunt is asking him when he's going to settle down, the kid sleeping on the chairs at a wedding is a common trope, wearing football pads under his suit) and the whole thing was him "coming up" from Puerto Rican streets to what's probably the biggest event in American pop culture. It was an American dream performance even if you couldn't speak a single word of Spanish and had to follow the visuals.

Agree, now back to why our government spends $7,000,000,000,000.00 a year.
Divide and conquer with social issues, while stealing everything we have.

They're very popular with women of all demographics, not just asian and white.

I didn't pay much attention because his music sucks. And a Spanish-singing Puerto Rican is not American culture. The NFL can pander to this demographic all they want, doesn't make it some sort of authentically American dream thing because it isn't.

I just thought it was boring and not great. I didn't know much about Bad Bunny before other than he's super famous internationally so I went in with an open mind. It was just boring. My kids, who don't care if it's English or Spanish, thought so too.
But of course a huge portion of our country is just blanket praising it as amazing because they're scared of being called a racist.

I think nuclear weapons are a mixed bag. It’s terrifying to have something like that that can destroy the entire world but it’s also the reason we have not seen a global war like the firtst 50 years of the 20th century. I imagine one day though they will get used catastrophically.
We should be running completely in nuclear power.
We should be running completely in nuclear power.

80-whatever percent of Americans watching the Super Bowl had no idea what the frick Bad Bunny was saying and felt left out.
Wouldn't this be the complete opposite of inclusion?
The whole thing was an misguided idiotic clusterfrick.
I would bet that about 80% of people, men at least, upon hearing the Eagles "Take it To The Limit" initially heard them singing about pussy on the highway....
Its pretty universal that most people at one time in their life thought Elton John sang a song about Tony Danza holding him closer.....
Neither of those mistakes made people apoplectic....they still enjoyed those songs. Take It To The Limit hit #4 on the charts and the 6 plus minute Tiny Dancer was #41 which is unheard of for a song that long....

I'm looking forward to the all Mandarin halftime show in the next 5 years.
When they say inclusion they mean it, just not for Americans. They can't get any more blood out of that stone.

Off-topic sorry, but my father went to a mostly Jewish elementary school in New York in the 1950s, and the main game they'd play in recess was concentration camp. One group of kids was the Nazis and they'd get to torment the the Jews and tell them to get on the ground and throw stuff at them and ride on their back like a horse. And then the next day the kids who were Jews got to be the Nazis and torment the Jews on the playground. Kids are nuts lol.
