I don't get how you order 4 biscuits with 8 pieces of any kind of chicken. If OP was doing what a bunch of us said (use the mobile app) there's a *14* piece tender meal with 2 large sides and 5 biscuits for $25.99.
Popeye's has *always* been a place where you have to use a coupon or a special or get hosed. For decades. It's their business model.

I’m fine with fast food when I get it.
I don’t go to Popeyes, because Popeyes has been a shithhole in every location I’ve ever been to.
I don’t get fast food enough to be dissatisfied with it. I get it in a pinch or when I know what I’m going to get.

I am coupon or online app user.
This is the way. Still too expensive in my book and they don’t let you customize like substituting a small side for a large on the app.
I don’t think it is inflation related, it just might be greed on the corporate level.

I used the 10 piece mixed, 2 sides, and 5 biscuits $22 coupon on Saturday. If you read them the coupon code in the drive thru, you can use the coupon again and again.
