Aren't most of the bars still restricted in New Orleans?

Not really. Most got their restaurant licenses. Those that don't are open and doing good business. Tourists are coming down in good numbers.

So a talented cook can't make a great boudin? That's some ridiculous shite. Piece of Meat here is as good as any I have tried. And yes, I have been to many of the places you listed.

I'll yell at my cloud if I want to.

I trust nola with creole and italian food, that's it.

Now ya see I could hang with you in New Orleans.... you know where to go and where not to go. But it’s still not the same as it once was.

Also, if you want boudin, make the trek to acadia, st landry, or evangeline parish. Lafayette has no good boudin (outside of Johnsons).

MOTHERfrickER YOU DONE DID IT NOW. Meet me at Sonic on Johnston June 1st at 3pm.

1-2 days in New Orleans and I'm tired of it and won't get the urge to return for another year or so. I find myself avoiding it now when I didn't used to do that.

Don't go to the quarter. The best bars and restaurants are not there anymore.

Trashy

Some of the best food I've ever had was in roadside shite holes with chickens walking around the parking lot.

It's not about being classy vs being trashy.

I'm aware. That hasn't been the case in New Orleans for a long time. But even then it's still kind of stale to me.

The blocks with the Plaza, ACME, Hard Rock, Galatoires and the Sonesta?
