That is great. Wonder how old that clip is?

Apparently its been around since March though, which means it probably is a shite variant.

Yeah there are some, but until that number is 0 this mask mandate should be shamed every single day it's in effect.

Autozone is the only place to come find me while already in the store and tell me I needed to have mask on to shop there. I turned to the employee flat out said no, set the items I had in my hands on the floor at my feet, then said I'll spend my money at O'Reilly's and walked out. This happened at 2 locations. Perkins/College and N. Foster/Fla Blvd.

Chase Bank on Jones Creek did it to me last Friday. For anyone familiar with that branch, the teller window is literally only 3-5 feet from the front door, and it's the thickest bulletproof glass I've ever seen. Teller told me in order for her to accept my transaction, I needed to put on a mask even though there was a foot thick of glass between us. She nodded behind her to show me her Karen manager was hawking in the background. That never happened to me before at a real walk-up lobby bank. I must be losing my touch with the hoes in BR, normally I can charm my way out of a mask.

I went to Home Depot this morning to buy a new toilet. While I was there, the wife texted me "I ordered breakfast from the donut place. Can you pick it up?"
Of course I will. I love breakfast from the donut place.
I was maskless in the depot. Half the employees were maskless. Very few customers had masks. It was quite pleasant.
I head to the donut place. Walk in. Immediately some white girl with blonde dreadlocks screams out "Sir! Sir! Do you have a mask? Sir! You need a mask."
I spent 4 hours yesterday in Tiger Stadium, shoulder to shoulder with tens of thousands of others. Maskless. Screaming. High fiving each other.
I look at her, and pull my shirt collar over my nose.
"Sir! Sir! That's not a mask sir! You need a mask sir!"
Now there is practically no difference between a cloth mask and my shirt. Really, no difference at all. They're both useless.
At this point I'm five feet away from my to go order. I take two steps, grab my order and leave
As I'm walking out the door, old dreadlock says "sir! If you can't follow the rules you can't come back."
Fair enough.
I take my shirt off my face and say "don't worry. I won't be back. Ever."
I guess my wife will have to find another breakfast place.
ETA: I guess karma's biting me in the arse. After eating my delicious egg biscuit from the donut place I will no long ber frequenting, I remove the old toilet (which is always nasty business), clean around the flange, set the bolts. I open the new toilet box to find that the entire base is shattered. Back to Home Depot I go.

Only place i have been asked to wear a mask in the last few months is a shitty ghetto truck stop in opelousas. I just turned around and went to the bext spot.

Fri night, the ID checker at L’Auberge asked me to put it on. So I did and walked in and took it off. I had a drink in my hand. Had to put it down on his counter to put my mask on. Whatever. I would say 20% of guests and 100% of employees were complying.
JBE and tha Destroya need to accept that the paper mask performs really well for a solid 5 mins, then it’s done. It works exceptionally well in chin strap style. And just remember, inside restaurants, the virus is only contagious between 5-6 feet off the floor. When you sit down, it doesn’t even float at the 4 ft table height. COVID has vertical awareness.

I stood behind a fruit loop ordering lunch earlier with a face mask and rubber gloves. It was certain this person was not sure which gender he/ she identified as on this day.
Maybe, but it’s possible that person had a compromised immune system and was trying to survive.

No one GAF anymore and there is zero enforcement by businesses or the police.
Just to see how much of a non issue masks are. In Terrebonne Parish, this week new cases were in the single digits. At the Delta peak, there were nearly 500. After Ida, not one person wears a mask unless they are dealing with a government agency or working inside.
Covid is over. By now either you have had it, immunized against it, or have natural antibodies against it.
