Same, unfortunately.

Not nearly as bad as Louisiana swamp trash. Which is only slightly worse than the state in general.

Just took a look at your post history because I was trying to remember if you had a meltdown over your team's recent performances. Damn, dude, what's your deal with Louisiana? You come off tacky as hell.

seriously, every single week I hear of someone moving to Charlotte, Mooresville, Asheville or Winston Salem

btw, Marshall Miller will probably be shut down completely in the next eight months or so and everything is dying in the area... so that's that

My buddy's grandpa owns one of them, 2nd one up on the street before you reach canyons. You're right about that view, absolutely phenomenal.

I grew up down the road in Hickory. No complaints at all. There's plenty of redneck and hillbilly, but I just think it adds to the charm.

On a side note as well, didn't Canyons used to have a different name/owners?

Blowing Rock is my retirement spot or maybe east TN.

Blowing Rock is nice. It's a little touristey for my tastes. I dig Brevard. I like its proximity to Asheville, yet still sort of small town/rural. Lots of nice areas all around there.

No idea. From the time I went to App until now it's had the same name.

I couldn't live in Charlotte even though I like parts of it. Traffic just sucks.

Not in the mountains. Know a lot of rich people who have summer homes there because it is much cooler.

Charlotte traffic has been OOC for a while and will only get much worse, imo

Yes. If you're heading north on 321, they're on the left about a quarter mile (maybe less) before you hit the golf course and continental divide.

You're not kidding. I haven't seen any for sale, but even with the limited lot size I would think they have to go for at least 650-700k.
