No I posted a 10 minute response video that explicitly proves it wrong early on. It makes ships reappear. And it explains and tracks in detail the height of the ship and distortion as I've been saying. Stop lying and watch the video.

Terrible argument...even if you could see through that much atmosphere, London's tallest building would be 2 millimeters tall at 100 yards away...not observable

I’m gonna need someone to explain this thought process (the response) to me or point me to where this is explained in this thread because this doesn’t make sense to me.

do you need Betamax? I watched his video. The video ended and didn't tell the whole story. My video tells the whole story.

So what is the horizon then if you can zoom in and see ships past it?

You don't make any sense. Have you only ever watched one video? Why did you watch his if you had seen another one?

I know! Which is why it doesn't work!

The simple geometry of the sun and day/night doesn't work on a flat earth. There is no way to reconcile the length of a day at various points on earth, and through the seasons, with a flat earth. As it happens, the geometry works perfectly with a spherical rotating earth.

Roundies invented the premise of ships disappearing over the horizon is them "going down" behind the curve. However you want to phrase it. That's their argument.
Uh huh. You have posted numerous photos and videos of ships disappearing below the horizon. Why are you posting it and claiming it's not happening?

No I haven't. If they are going down a curve, they should slip out of view very quickly, they only have to cover the height of the ship. Yet they remain visible and slowly "disappear" from the bottom up above the water while the mast remains at the same height. Look with your own eyes and see

Why don't they disappear almost instantly? How can they reappear well past the horizon?

Are you asking why only the highest point is visible before the entire thing disappears?

I'm saying if you're going fast down a curve you disappear quickly, the bottom clearly goes below the curve and your head dips below. You're past the curve now. I can't zoom in and see you again.

That doesn't happen. The head stays at the same height and the bottom becomes a distorted image below it and it very slowly disappears from the bottom up while still above the water line the whole time. Then I can zoom in and see you again.

a) Thanks. At least you demonstrate sack enough to and answer the question honestly (even if "loon" and your "reality" -- like 'Truman' -- is only relative to a world presented to you since The Cradle.)

b) MY "Narrative"? Did it ever occur to you that the "Outer Space" dogma/canon you've accepted as "Truth/Reality" since early childhood *might* well be the *actual* "Narrative"?

c) If you can kindly follow up by citing just which claim of "empirical evidence" [Liberator] blatantly suspended reality," I fully accept your challenge.

Please present a Top 3 "Empirical Evidence" (or "proof" you believe is spun lies or vandalized will do.

For your part, you must actually examine the presented evidence fairly and refute it based on the "evidence" cited by your side of the original claim.

GROUND RULES:

NO Red Herrings. NO Strawman. NO Ad Hominem

IS a respectable exchange possible?

I don't think I've seen a better example of the futility of debating these guys than this post and Gaggle's response. You post a clear, unedited video in which all of us can clearly observe a ship dropping below the horizon and he hand waves it.

The issue is people pick dumb arguments against FEers...it gives them easy wins.

Refraction and atmosphere affect these observations long before the horizon matters.

That's one question for you to answer while considering the entire series of posts and observing what you see. Stop cherry picking and pouncing, watch the videos and think about it.

This coming from you is the most laughable thing itt.

And it is most certainly not up to me to draw your map because you aren't able to.

Look at the scale of the curve compared to the circumference of the earth. That’s why. Watching someone disappear around the curve with 1,000 meter radius at 10 mph is the equivalent of watching something go around the earth at 63,000 mph

266 feet of curve per 20 miles. It's not the scale you think. Do the geometry.
